The stand

Pick a segment, one to twelve. Stand 1,000 $JOLTWAY or more on it, as often as you like, on as many segments as you like, until the clock. Every stand is public the moment it lands. Nothing moves once it stands.

The jolt

At the clock the bell nails a seal to the next block. That block's hash draws the jolt: the odds follow the crowd, so a segment holding a third of the line is struck one time in three. An empty segment is never struck. Nobody reads it early, the house included.

The strike

Everything standing on the struck segment is the pot. Everyone on every other segment earths their stake back plus a share of the pot, by stake. The house keeps 3% of a pot it pays and nothing else.

The static

If everything stood on the one segment the jolt took, nobody is left to pay. The whole pot rolls into the next charge as static, and the survivors of that one collect it.

The dare

Your odds of being hit are your segment's share of the line. Stand where you think nobody else will. Then watch who stands next to you.

Contract deploys before the first charge
